How many of you out there have kids at home? I’m sure a lot of you do and you are trying to do your best to teach your children while they are home for the rest of the school year. And do that while you yourself are working from home. Whew! Makes for some long days!
I usually only blog about things related to photography and my current sessions. But we are living in different times right now, and I want to make sure I can send out as much needed information about important things to help you!
School systems around the country are working hard to connect with kids on digital learning. As a former teacher, I know how stressful this can be for teachers, parents and students as everyone tries to work around the pandemic. But I also realize that sometimes you can’t access your digital homework and kids need additional resources to keep learning, even if it’s fun stuff for them to do to keep their brains active!
So with the help of my mom who is a current teacher, I have compiled a list of free educational resources! Freaking awesome, right! Some of the websites below are usually only accessible with a paid subscription, but they are free right now while children are learning from home.
I have broken these lists down into different subjects, generalized websites for learning, and just fun activates to do when your kids aren’t learning (even though they really are!).
This website lists all of the education companies and their description that are offering free subscriptions right now online.
On this website, it lists some fun math and science hands-on activities you can do at home!

Printables and Coloring Sheets
This one is my favorite because it has coloring pages from museums! So your kids can color and learn about famous works of art at the same time!
This is an all-around great site for any kind of coloring sheet!
Other subjects like math and social studies are included on the first link mentioned above for sites that are currently offering free access.
Is there an awesome website that I need to include on this blog post? I will be updating it as I find more information! Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I hope these educational sites have been helpful! There are so many great resources out there!
