Sean, Class of 2017! | Cleveland TN Photographer

As someone who graduated high school over 15 years ago, it is always encouraging to meet high school seniors who have their whole lives ahead of them, full of dreams and ambition. It encourages someone like me, that we truly have great students who are an inspiration for the future.

I found this to be true meeting Sean, a high school senior, class of 2017. We had wonderful fall weather for his senior shoot at the Chickamauga Battlefield. The red, oranges, and browns of the trees were in full array in the park.

We started his shoot off the main road where we had some trees in the background. We got Sean to smile by asking his mom to talk to him and ask him about funny and embarrassing things that have either happened to him or his friends in high school. While he was talking, it reminded me of several embarrassing things that happened to me that I won't comment on :)

Sean loves playing the drums in the high school band and is looking to major in music or biology at Jacksonville State next fall.

After this spot, we moved onto another field and a great stone bridge that I always visit for shoots. The first pictures were by the bridge, and then we were able to take some pictures in the field before we moved onto the high school for the last round of pictures.

These were by far my favorite pictures of the entire session. The intense and vibrant colors from the trees made it a perfect location for this part of the shoot.

In addition to music, Sean enjoys playing computer games and reading. His favorite classes, besides music, are Spanish, Calculus, and AP Environmental Science. As someone who is usually reading two books at a time, I love hearing about seniors who still love to read.

The last spot we visited was Heritage High School where Sean is a student. He wanted to get some pictures of the school's clock tower. Unfortunately, Sean wasn't able to use his drum in pictures, but we were able to use his drumsticks.

This was such a fun photo session, and I wish this senior a bright future! Congratulations to Sean, Class of 2017!
