A Winter Engagement Session at Knoxville Botanical Gardens

Kassi and Dalton’s winter engagement session at Knoxville Botanical Gardens was so much fun! I loved getting to know them all through out their photo shoot!

When I say that I can drive to Knoxville with my eyes closed, it’s pretty much true! My family has had season tickets to UT football games for 40 years, and I always enjoy driving to Knoxville with my mom to have a fun day of just us.

So you can imagine my excitement when Kassi and Dalton reached out to me about shooting their engagement session and wedding in Knoxville! One of the locations on my bucket list for an couples shoot was the Knoxville Botanical Gardens, and it was actually where they wanted their session. I had never been to this location before, but once we walked around the entire property we discovered so many greats spots for photos.

Kassi and Dalton met on Tinder and at their first date, they hit it off immediately. One of their favorite activities during the weekend is playing games together and trying out new restaurants. Some of their favorite dates and trips have been visiting Biltmore, Dollywood and going ice skating. I have visited Biltmore in every season, and I love going back anytime! Not to mention, they have the two cutest kitty cats ever 🙂

I absolutely loved spending time with these two! We were laughing the whole time during their session and they are very easy going, so I knew that this session was going to be a lot of fun! Kassi is a special education teacher (we always need more dedicated teachers in the world!), so we had plenty to chat about since I’m a teacher by trade as well. And imagine my surprise when I discovered that Dalton’s family has their UT football tickets in the section right below ours!
