Downtown Chattanooga Prom Session
Pretty dresses, high heels, and warm spring weather can only mean one thing! It is officially prom season! I loved taking photos of Hayden and her girl friends for a downtown Chattanooga prom session! It lightly sprinkled for just a minute, but the rain held off for Hayden’s photos. One of the best places to take prom pictures is at the West Village. We had to compete a little with the traffic, but we all had a lot of fun and the girls looked beautiful!
The best part about planning a photo session in downtown Chattanooga is that there are so many possibilities for pictures. I recently published a blog post about why I love shooting seniors downtown, and it’s all about the locations! You don’t have to travel very far in order to find some pretty backgrounds. If you plan your photo session ahead of time, you can take some great pictures with a lot of variety.
My favorite part about this spring prom photo shoot was that Hayden wanted individual pictures of just her but also photos with her friends. They planned on going to prom together as a group. This was a such a great idea, because they definitely knew they would have a great time without taking dates! I loved Hayden’s long blue dress! It was covered with feathers and glitter and she wore studded silver heels to match.
We started Hayden’s prom session with photos of just her in front of the Westin in the West Village. Instead of walking to another street, we stayed in the area and used different backgrounds around the hotel such as Gilman’s Grill. Hayden’s friends Bailee, Brooklyn, and Emmy joined in for group photos! These images turned out so cute! We even got the the must-have “Charlie’s Angels” shot!
This downtown Chattanooga prom session was so much fun and having photos with your friends is the best way to celebrate this once in a lifetime event!
