An Interview with a High School Graduate | Class of 2023
I was fortunate to capture Lauren Grace’s senior photos in Chattanooga this past spring! It has been over twenty years since I graduated from high school, and I didn’t have the same experience that Lauren Grace was able to have. Therefore, I was eager to ask her a few questions about what advice she would give to rising seniors and why you need to schedule a senior photos before your graduate. She was gracious enough to send some very thoughtful answers! Here is my interview with a high school graduate:
What Should You Do During Your Senior Year?
During your senior year, make the most of it! It will go by so fast! Cherish every moment because you can’t go back. Make sure that you do the best that you can with your work, like turning it in on time and making decent grades. You should make sure that if you have not already, to apply to a community
college or four-year college. It’s very important to turn your college information in by the recommended due dates.
Make sure you ask all of the questions you can with your school’s guidance counselor. He or she can help you make some of your important decisions and give you some good advice and guidance. Apply for all the scholarships that you can like TN Promise and Hope Scholarship. Your guidance counselor can direct you to many more!
Why Should You Schedule a Senior Session?
You should definitely schedule a senior session with Erin! She makes sure that you get the type of pictures that you want when photographing your senior session. She has a sweet personality and a willingness
to work with others. She definitely takes her time and works very hard to make your photos look the best as possible!
I suggest that you schedule a senior session early to get a head start. This is your last opportunity to get these special photos taken before the next chapter of your life starts. You will look back and be grateful that you scheduled that photo shoot!
What Are the Top Five Things To Do Before Graduating?
- Before graduating, you should pray to God to help you with all of the decisions and upcoming events that will be happening in your future.
- You should know or at least have an idea of where you are going to college or your plans.
- Have fun and cherish your last moments with the friends, family, and teachers that you love.
- Don’t stress out, which is easier said than done.
- Book your senior photos with someone whose work and personality you love.
