On the blog today, I continuing my series on wedding venues in and around Cleveland. This area is constantly growing and there are so many great places to hold your ceremony and reception and with plenty of space for your guests.

Ocoee Crest has only been in the area a short time, but they are already proving to be a great choice for your ceremony and reception. One of the owners, Ginny, gave me a private tour of the space and grounds, and I was very impressed! She and her husband bought some land nearby just to build their forever home and then this area became available; thus the dream of owning and managing a wedding venue was born!

They can hold up to 299 guest for your event inside their large hall which faces the mountains and a river down below. They have a separate area for the groomsmen to get ready, complete with a full bath, a large screen TV for watching your favorite sport, comfortable seating, and a tall table and chairs for relaxing. The room is decorated in dark woods and leather which is the perfect combination for your husband-to-be and his friends before the ceremony.

This venue boasts two lovely decorated rooms for the bride and her attendants to get dressed and have their hair and make-up done, including a full bath in both rooms, a large vanity and mirror, some plush couches and chairs, plus two large spaces for the bride to get ready without tripping on her dress! I just love all the attention to details like the Mr. and Mrs. jewelry dish, a vase of flowers and the soft abstract art on the walls. It makes you feel like you are getting ready for your big day in the comfort of your own home. What’s not to love about that? After you have put on the finishing touches and are ready to walk down the aisle, all you have to do is step outside and you can make your big entrance down the path to your outdoor ceremony from the dressing room!

In case the groomsmen and bridal suites inside weren’t enough to impress, just follow me outside! Now, I am a lover of mountains! When someone asks me if I prefer the beach or mountains, I’m going to pick the latter every time. My heart belongs there! Ocoee Crest has a complete arbor and amphitheater, under which to hold the ceremony with the mountains in the background, for up to 300 guests. Afterwards, start your cocktail area in the patio complete with strung lights above and later during the reception, some fun dancing with your family and friends!

The large hall inside boats 9,000 square feet and has five bay doors that open up so you can walk outside and enjoy the cool night air. Stunning chandeliers hang from above and there is plenty of room for rocking out to your DJ if you prefer your reception indoors.

Oh wait, did I mention that when you book your ceremony and reception you have the option to borrow items from their decor collection at no extra cost! Yes, it’s included with your wedding package! Everything from signs to floral centerpieces to string lights and easels – it’s all there for you to use for your wedding! How amazing is that! And their large prep kitchen has everything for your catering needs!

If I had to get married all over again, this is definitely the place I would choose! I might even save this spot for my vow renewal in the future!
