Nicole and Damion | Downtown Engagement | Chattanooga Photographer

Nicole and Damion’s downtown engagement session in Chattanooga was so much fun! We took photos on the Walnut Street Bridge, and later we moved to a rooftop downtown for sunset portraits. One of the things that I love about my marriage is that me and my husband constantly tease and make fun of each other. We both have a dry sense of humor and are very laid back, so we always have fun together no matter what we’re doing.

This is what I also discovered about Nicole and Damion when I talked to her about shooting their wedding. They love to pick at one another and constantly aggravate each other. However, when you are taking photos of them, you can see their true and genuine love. Nicole and Damion are both sarcastic, but very comfortable around each other.

They both met through mutual friends via a recreational softball league in Houston, Texas. Damion works in the food industry in Chattanooga, so that doesn’t leave them a lot of free weekends. When they do have the chance for a date night, they enjoy trying new restaurants and bourbon bars. Nicole also loves taking Damion to a baseball game!

Nicole loves the downtown Chattanooga area so we planned on taking photos on the Walnut Street Bridge. We also headed over to the parking garage near the Read House for some sunset photos! I just loved capturing the love and emotion between the two of them. We had so much fun talking and laughing!
