The warm autumn air provided the perfect backdrop for Ada’s photoshoot as we explored iconic Chattanooga locations. With her family’s upcoming move out west after graduation, capturing these memorable spots became even more meaningful. Ada’s senior session at Renaissance Park and the Walnut Street Bridge offered stunning settings that complemented her sweet and creative spirit.
Our session began at Renaissance Park, where the vibrant colors created a magical atmosphere. Ada, a dedicated member of Signal Mountain High School’s cross country and track team, felt right at home among the walking paths with the light streaming through the trees. As we walked, she shared stories of winning championships with her teammates—memories she’ll carry with her long after graduation.
For this location, Ada chose to wear a beachy tank top sweater and dark red skirt with comfy sandals that reflected her “Euro summer” aesthetic. She also brought a bouquet of sunflowers, which was the perfect complement to her outfit. We walked around the park and finished the first half of her session in a field with her wearing a short, dark blue eyelet dress. I loved the way this outfit looked against the tall grass with the sun peeking behind the bushes.
As the afternoon light softened, we made our way to the Walnut Street Bridge. This popular and iconic Chattanooga landmark provided the perfect backdrop for Ada to display more of her distinctive style. She first wore a blue and white sundress with beige heels. My favorite shots of her on the bridge were of her walking and swishing her dress!
Ada’s feminine European-inspired look shone throughout her entire session. Her disciplined approach to both academics and athletics has influenced her fashion sense: thoughtful, intentional, and uniquely her own. For her last outfit, she went more casual, choosing a cropped white flutter sleeve top, jeans, and Birkenstocks. As the sun started setting, we made our way across the connecting bridge to the art museum and got some images with the Walnut Street Bridge in the background.
During our walks to different locations, Ada talked about her love of baking and how spending time outdoors has shaped her high school experience. She is planning on attending Willamette University. I do not doubt that her passion and creativity will guide her path forward.
As Ada’s senior session at Renaissance Park and beyond came to a close, it was clear that while she may be leaving Chattanooga behind, she’ll carry wonderful memories, along with her determination and creative spirit, to wherever life takes her next. Congratulations, Ada, on all of your accomplishments!!
