Photographing families and especially moms-to-be is so special to me. Whether they are mothers expecting their first child, expecting again, or having their rainbow baby like me, having a child is one of the most wonderful experiences you can have. When I found out that Melissa was expecting a baby boy and also her last baby, I wanted to create some beautiful images for her! Melissa is a teacher like me, as are most of the women in my immediate family, so it was even more special to schedule this session for her.

I recently hosted my first ever photography booth at the North Georgia Bridal Expo this past weekend! I wanted to make sure I did a lot of research first to make sure I did all I could and I started prepping for this show 3 months ago! After preparing for this bridal expo and doing a lot of research into what I needed to have, I have some tips and ideas to pass along if you are planning on hosting a booth at a show. The lighting in the event room was turned down low so I just took a few photos of my booth to show you my set up.

I am excited to continue my blog post series all about wedding and event venues in Cleveland, Tennessee. This city is constantly growing and there seem to be new venues and businesses popping up all the time. Although, this isn’t the case for The Coffey Barn. They have been a Cleveland establishment for almost six years! Eric and David were kind enough to give me a complete tour of the entire venue and this location has so much to offer! It rained a bit while I was walking around, but I managed to get some nice outdoor shots of the property.
