Here you will find family sessions, senior photoshoots, and helpful tips and education on what to wear and more!
Not knowing what to expect this year, I ended up gaining more clients from referrals, had returning families back for sessions this fall, and even started taking some professional head shots and dabbled in some commercial photography for a local doctor’s office. This has been my busiest year ever for my business! I have had to push myself to learn new things and invested more in education and shooting more to become better at my craft.
If you have read my bio on my website, you know I love everything vintage. So it’s no surprise that the Weaver’s Room at the Old Woolen Mill is one of my favorite wedding venues in Cleveland. I am always that one quirky person who is more interested in the history of the building, how and when it was built, and it’s original purpose. I have shot a couple senior sessions around the grounds outside, but I had never been inside to see the actual wedding venue. There is a lot of amazing history involved with this location!
One of the reasons photographers participate in style shoots throughout the year is to increase their content, connect with local vendors, and practice shooting when they know they can take risks and try out new things, especially if they have purchased a new camera body or lens.
As someone who loves to connect with brides and grooms for weddings and elopements, I love attending style shoots so I can work on how I want to photograph these types of sessions. The weather was absolutely perfect for this shoot!
