Some sessions just feel like magic from start to finish, and Addie’s senior session was absolutely one of them! We headed out to her family’s farm just over the Georgia state line from Chattanooga for a fall session that I will not be forgetting anytime soon, and honestly, neither will my shoes LOL!
Addie is one of those people who lights up a room the second she walks in. She’s fun-loving, caring, and full of life, and the kind of girl who throws herself into everything she does with a whole heart. A 2026 high school graduate of Silverdale Baptist Academy, she’s heading to High Point University in North Carolina this fall, where she’ll be joining the women’s flag football team.
When it came to planning her session, Addie knew exactly who she was and wasn’t afraid to show it. She wore the cutest tops and skirts, which were both comfortable and adorable. Her cowboy boots made several appearances throughout her farm session and matched anything she wore! Yellow is her favorite color, and that warm early fall light was basically made for her. We also used her Bible as a prop during part of the session, which felt so genuine and meaningful. It was a beautiful reflection of her faith and her relationship with Christ.
The family farm was too big to cover on foot for a lot of the spots she chose, so Addie’s mom hopped behind the wheel of their off-road vehicle and chauffeured us around the property. We may have gotten a little dirty along the way, but I loved every second of it! (This is why I always wear dark clothing that can get messy!) We made sure to capture the cows grazing in the background, which was iconic and truly one of my favorite details. We also got some gorgeous shots with her horse. It was the kind of authentic, lived-in setting that you just can’t recreate, and it fit Addie’s personality perfectly.
Addie loves being outside, playing pickleball, hiking, hanging out with her friends and family, and trying new things. Her favorite movie is My Girl, which honestly tracks because she has that same warm, genuine, larger-than-life spirit. Anyone who gets to be around Addie is a little luckier for it.
Thank you, Addie, for trusting me with your senior portraits this year! I can’t wait to see you take the college world by storm and bless others with your strong faith!
If you’re a Chattanooga-area senior looking for a session that feels like you, I’d love to chat! My fall calendar is open, and now is the time to book your spot!
